In theory these covers are good. However, trying to get your brushes into them. Leave stains on the outside which can then transfer into your other items. I think it's necessary to have the opening be bigger or to change the design of this somehow so that if your brush is already have makeup on them, it won't transfer on to the outside of the covers. Furthermore, they should come in a smaller size for smaller powder brushes. This works very well with the large head powder brushes, but if you have blush brushes or concealer brushes or any smaller kind of brushes, this automatically falls off and you really just makes sense to cram a whole bunch of brushes into one of these things to have it protected. I prefer the long one. I think that comes in the three pack. The long one is much better for like your smaller brushes and stuff, but I would not recommend getting this for individual brushes. Maybe get one for your powder brush and then get two of the rectangular cases for all your other smaller brushes. If they came up with smaller or different size heads for different size brushes, I think that'll be much more appropriate. Just came back from New York and I appreciated them but some of these little things made them not as practical as I would have liked.
