The things I purchased are exactly what i hoped they'd be! I love them.
Works perfectly for an paint palette for art,,, it’s pretty awesome !!!
I wish these tins were deeper, as they can't hold much. They hold bobby pins and skinny ties well which is what I'm using it for. The large size is better in general to hold more but if you want to hold small items like paper clips, tabs, etc. this is good. It fits well in a purse or pocket because its so slender.
I've purchased all three sizes of these tins to see what would be useful for which purposes for my organizing. At first I wasn't sure what to use these for as they're fairly thin, and like the other review mentions can be a little hard to open. Once I started using it though it was much easier to open, so they do loosen up a bit. And I found so many uses for them, I'm back to order more. I use the largest size to organize my different bobby pins and hair clips, but I keep a couple of this size empty in the same drawer so that I can throw some clips and bobby pins in my purse to take with me on a daily basis. I also like this size to hold q-tips in my little travel nail kit. I personally use them for the q-tips with pointy ends, I like to use those to clean up my nails, but any kind of q-tip would fit very well in these tins, they would make very good travel organizers as well. I also have a lot of the vinyl stickers and the temporary tattoos from Miss A and I found that for most of them, all of the stickers and most of the tattoos, fit very well in these. It is much better than having them loose in my drawer. I use so many of these in all the sizes that now I need to find a way to label them so I know which holds what. Loving these tins Miss A!!
Probably good for keeping flat things like stickers or paperclips. The metal is a little thin, so I worry about bending or snapping pieces sometimes. Also a bit harder to open than the large boxes for some reason? Probably the way the catch bumps are added. Not bad, but I don't think I'm getting much use out of this.
