Love Love Love

I got the Light Lavender I believe it is now a HG product for me. Especially because I used it with the new Miss A air cream foundation. The L1 color was almost my shade, it just had a touch too much warmth. But I used the Light Lavender to set it, just dusting it over, not using it as a foundation but for setting and it adjusted it beautifully. The touch of sallowness was gone and it was brighter and neutralized. I absolutely love it and can use it to correct or even brighten under the eyes or over blemishes or dark spots. Excellent product and so happy I purchased it. I think I will add another to my next Miss A order so I have a back up!

Great, but…

I really like this powder and have been using it instead of my Air Cream and Flawless Eraser stick AOA foundations. I’m wearing L3 in the picture. It lasts well for me with a setting spray. It applies well with both a brush and the AOA Silky Cloud sponge. HOWEVER, I really wish there was more continuity with shades across the AOA selection of foundations. I’m L1 in the air cream, L3 in this powder, and either Light Ivory or Sand in the eraser sticks. It’s all AOA so I really wish they would just sick to the same shade range- OR provide a chart to make matching easier. I tried this in Peach and it was too pink, and the L1 looked much too yellow for me. For the cost it’s great, but a little more intention when developing shades and product ranges would be nice to see.

Great as setting powder

I will wait a few days in the future to review products. I’m adding a star. The first use I had used a really dense brush and applied to dry skin and there was a lot of fallout on the pink and L3 was very matte. Today I used a fluffy brush and applied as a setting powder in the afternoon as my face was a little shiny from humidity, it looked really nice, didn't stick to oily or dry spots, cut the shine without looking dull or cakey. I tried both colors this way and liked them both. The pink was nice and brightening too. I’ll use it this way and I still think it would be great for oily skin. The container is really pretty too.

An Honest Review

They could do with more shades, but I got L3 and it is a nice neutral shade. A typical powder foundation with a light/med coverage. I am an oily skinned person and this does the trick for me, I always powder after liquid foundation anyways so this saves me that step. It does settle into fine lines and isn't a life changing product but for quick face make up it works perfectly.
