I got champagne which I was a little nervous about because I'm very pale. It is about my skin tone in the pan and not that pigmented on the face; it does however give a fantastic natural glow. There are small pieces of glitter in it, but I have never found a highlight without them even from YouTube reviews specifically about not wanting glitter, so I may just look too closely. This product can give you a natural highlight with a brush, a still natural but more noticeable highlight with your finger, and you could probably use it as an all over powder if you were going for a glowing look (not for coverage ). (I'm oily so I probably won't be testing that.) At any stage I think it shows up enough to be worth putting on, you can build it up enough that the makeup inclined might comment on it and the naïve might say you're glowing, but I wouldn't say you could get it past that point like to blinding or dramatic.
It's a very neutral color; you can't tell a difference from the oil in the middle of my bare forehead and this stuff above the arch of my brow. (Not very glamorous to share, but I hope a helpful comparison.)
I just bought another one to stash in my travel collection. It will be great for quick/conservative makeup. If I had to guess; this is probably the most mature skin friendly highlight that I have in my collection. Though I haven't been able to test that yet; it looks nice on my bare face and reminds me of the highlights that some of my fav youtubers talk about.
