use them for masking

I bought the full set for makeup and got this duo to use for clay and mud masks. It works so flipping wonderfully! I use it to apply and to help remove once done. Cleanes out well, doesn't shed. Wonderful brush set.

So Unique!!!

AOA studio has the best makeup brushes hands down. No shedding, super soft but yet still firm and they last for years (I know, I know you should toss your brushes after awhile). They apply makeup like a dream and blend everything so effortlessly. The shape of this brush is so unique allowing you to reach the corners and crevice of your face. My only complaint would be the color of the brush handle being white they get dirty quicker but nonetheless these are the best. I use these specific brushes for applying powder under my eyes for baking and setting my foundation. Check out my youtube video where I review shopmissa brushes and makeup. @EyeEatFashion

Very nice

They've held up a couple washes so I now I feel I can write an accurate review. I mostly use the larger one to spread on foundation and it does an amazing job. no harsh lines, not too much or too little product, beautiful skin. I usually go over everything with a beauty blender when I'm done just to really make sure but honestly I probably don't need to. I don't use the smaller one very often but occasionally i'll reach for it to blend little areas around my eyes. its good I just don't have a purpose for it in my routine the way I do the bigger one.

Press in Product just like expensive alternatives

I’ll admit even though I test out a billion products a day and I love a good deal, I am a brush snob! However these two REALLY shocked me! This cut, as well as the thickness is a harder brush to find; especially one that WORKS properly. These two work just as well as some of my most expensive in this style. That alone blows my mind. These are fantastic for under the eyes, getting right in the corner where you can usually blend “enough” but you still see makeup. The smaller of the two does the job perfectly and that “makeup look” looks like SKIN! The larger of the two can do a bunch of things. But usually on myself and even my clients I call this my “press and blend” brush lol! It does just that; presses the product in so that it seamlessly blends into the skin! When in a hurry, use one of these to help that contour around your temples blend in or even that bronzer...you will have that sun kissed glow without any harsh lines! All in all I have been pleased without a doubt with MANY makeup products, sponges (oh my the sponges!) and many brushes! This cut just really stands out! Buy these babies if you’re looking for this hard to find, and especially hard to find a good one, brush in this style. You’ll be very happy that you did! They passed my test; and again, I’m a brush snob.

Best Purchase!

I'm almost 40 and often struggle with cream products for under my eyes. The smaller brush in this set has changed my under eye game!! Products I previously had trouble with apply so smoothly with it. It has allowed me to get a really nice finish and I'm no longer searching for new concealers. It's true that sometimes the right tool makes the biggest difference.
