I've had these for awhile; they're great for holding sections of my daughter's hair when she wants it styled in something other than a ponytail. But I recently discovered a second great purpose for them: holding my son's bangs off his forehead while his sunscreen is applied and absorbed into his skin. It's an important part of our going-outside routine now. 🙂
Great hair clips overall. However, 8 out of 10 of mine have snapped after a few months use. All in the same spot, too...
I don't use them often and my hair isn't thick, though it is coily. Unfortunate, but for a few dollars, I can't complain.
Okay, to preface, I have thin but curly hair. Clips work well and hold well most of the time. Usually my trouble is the actual clip itself wearing down and being not so good quality that it breaks in my hands after a bit of time. I’ve been using these nearly every day, for almost a year, to hold back my hair for makeup application and they’re still rock solid. Definitely recommend!
