Would not stay lit for more than 10 seconds!
These look great and work great! Trim down to 1/4" prior to lighting.
Don't believe other reviews. My candles stay lit a long time. Yes they went out but that was because they drowned in wax. I did not pay attention to them 45 minutes later. Also wood wicks have a tendency to go out because of the wicks themselves. The crackle does that sometimes. Just be patient.
I've made candles before and have never experienced a wick not working but these truely do not stay lit. I've tried everything from melting some of the wax with a lighter to trimming the wick further down keeping the lighter on the wick for over 30 seconds etc. They don't stay lit! I made 3 candles and one with 2 wicks in it and still nothing. Please don't waste your time or money. The soy wax however is an excellent buy so maybe go with their other wicks.

I was very sad that I put all the work into making candles with these wicks and then the wicks will not stay lit longer than 30 seconds at most! Once lit, the wood quickly burns all the way down to a stub and then goes out. :'(
